DRAWING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BRAIN

stage à la Gadeloupe
stage à Mulhouse
stage en Islande
stage en Anjou
This course applies to teachers, senior clerks, team leaders, heads of department and all persons who think one can only learn by a logical way. It suits people desiring to open up to a different way of thinking than the one cultivated by continental education. It is recommended for people wishing to open up and discover a hidden aspect of their personality.
The course can be given either in French or English or both, to suit the group. A group should include at least 6 people, and no more than 14. Myriam Bat-Yosef will travel to give intensive courses of 5 days, or 3 week-ends. Travel, food and lodging expenses, are in charge of the group.
The 10 weekly sessions, of 2 and a half hours, have all to be attended ; every session gradually teaches you a part of the alphabet of this technique. Once you know the whole alphabet you can draw anything you like.
Contrary to the general belief, one does not need talent to be able to draw. With this technique, you'll learn to draw what you see, like you have learned to read and write.
Myriam Bat-Yosef is an Icelandic-Israeli artist whose works have been exhibited in Israel, Europe, Japan and Iceland. She has won several international awards, in different countries where her works may be found in Museums of Modern Art. She has been teaching the method "Drawing on the right side of the brain", enriched by exercises of her own experience, for the past 15 years.
In each of the 4 examples below you see a drawing of the same subject, made by the same person ;
on the first day, on the left, and towards the end of the course, on the right.
